My sister kept looking at my blog and asking when I was going to post something new…life has been busy and my knitting has been taking up a lot of my time and is coming along really well.
Both of my boys are in gymnastics and the eldest in playing basketball so with sports, kinder, a few play dates, house stuff and the odd job for hubbies business and I’m pretty buggered by the end of the day.
Anyway I did visit a friend today who I haven’t seen for a while and had a great time catching up while her and her friend scrapbooked while I made cards. I did however, only manage to make one card in three hours, I did get images stamped and cut out but there was also a bit of chatting. : )
This card was made using Groovy Guava and Purely Pomergranate papers and ink from Stampin Up and the stamps were purchased from Spotlight. This card also celebrates my 1000 visits on my blog, I know it’s nothing compared to other blogs, but hey it’s still exciting for me.
Yesterday I was also busy spring cleaning with my hubby and boys, and even more spring cleaning today. As well as the spring cleaning I also finally got around to painting the flames on the boys billy cart that they made with thier dad. I am very proud of my flames! And of course the boys think they a so cool!
The billy cart is on it’s side while it dries. It has had a clear protectant coat sprayed on and then a few layers of protectant clear paint and will be ready for the boys to go for a ride tomorrow.
A few weeks ago I visited my sister Kristy and she let me use some of her Stampin Up! stamps, here are some of the cards I made using her stamps.
This card was made using the Always stamp set from Stampin Up! I love this stamp set and it is on my wish list. I used Blue Bayou paper and ink from Stampin Up! and the other papers were from a scrapbooking company.
This card was made using The Always stamp set by Stampin Up! as well.
I used Purely Pomergranate, Old Olive , Blue Bayou and Pumpkin Pie Stampin Up! inks and Pumpkin Pie and Blue Bayou papers.
If you want to find out more about Stampin Up! products or learn how to make cards visit my sister Kristy’s blog.
Thanks for reading my blog, I hope I have provided you with some inspiration.
Cheers,
Paula.
